Ask the landlord liaisonRent is based on what's reasonable for comparable units in the area and the household's income. We confirm the rent is reasonable before approving the lease, so you're paid a fair market amount.
EBRPHA pays its portion of the rent directly to you by direct deposit, on the same schedule each month. The tenant pays their portion to you separately.
Vouchers go to income-eligible households — families, seniors, and people with disabilities — who have been screened for the program. You still apply your own standard tenant screening.
Before move-in and once a year, we perform a free inspection to confirm the unit meets Housing Quality Standards. We give you a checklist in advance so your unit passes the first time.
